Neil Gaiman is a polymath.

Cheers. What is it exactly, an audio book?

Veronica Mars Lovey

Are we ever going to get a DVD release of that in this country?

Also, Andy Sipowitz, if only for the short sleeved shirts he wore to the office.

Apart from the obvious and immortal Sherlock Holmes, gotta mention Horatio Caine from CSI:Miami.

Old school, wild west sheriff with a natty line in opening zingers.

Harry Crumb.

I used to like Quincy, just for the fact that a 90 year old codger always had 20 year old bikini clad lovelies running around his boat.

A lot of the new detective shows have had to be set in the past, as modern forensics have removed a lot of the guess work.

'One of these people in the room is a murderer.'

'We got the DNA results back, it's Colonel Meldridge.'

'Colonel Meldridge, you are the murderer!'

'Nice work Poirot.'

I saw Qunincy this morning he beat up a ninja with a bottle of chardonnay.

Sherlock Holmes all the way. The books are fabulous, so are Basil Rathbone and Peter Cushing's portrayal of him.
Gene Hunt aswell is genius.

It's always very sad when a BCG member turns to drink. :(

Oh! You mean you saw it on television! :$

Yeh and don't miss or I'll set Jack Klugman on you he beats up ninjas and punks.

What about really fat detectives? Cannon, The fatman and that one who owns a pie shop.
