Godfather vs Goodfellas

If you could only keep the DVD of one film in your collection, which would it be?

I say Goodfellas, close UD.

It's more realistic in my opinion, didn't sensationalize the life like GF did, and was just a better movie. Although I liked GF a lot (especailly the first one).

I'd also like to add that Tommy in Goodfellas is one of the best characters. Not only was he real but by all accounts (I've read the book by Henry Hill as well as his kids) the version of Tommy in the film was actually toned down. That's pretty crazy to think about.

I agree; and it's my second favourite acting performance of all time.

My favourite performance is Paul Newman in 'The Colour of Money'.

My fave all-time is probably Anthony Perkins, as Norman Bates in Psycho.

You're obviously thinking of the "Godzilla murder mystery she wrote action hour."

Where he and Angela Lansbury solved murders whilst driving around in a rocket powered trike.

There was an excelent Christmas special where they teamed up with Mystery Inc and the Harlem Globe Trotters to save Santa Claus from The Hooded Claw.

Huh? Sorry, I was distracted from thinking about how cool a Zombie Godzilla would be and how much I'd pay to see that film.

Yes there's been one surely you must have seen the 1971 Toho Studios classic Psycotronic spectacular Zodzilla?

Followed up by the inferior sequel Awkward Sodzilla where he refuses to trim his bushes and ruins Mothra's tulips.

N.B. Goodfellas is the best Godfather 1-3 all deeply over rated.
The Long Good Friday was better.

If it's godfather 2 VS goodfellas.... Godfather 2 might just win it.

But Goodfellas for me, I love it, top 5 movies of all time.

Of course over all The Sopranos takes the crown.
