Don Rushmore's Guide To Jobbing Actors, Cystitis Press, RRP £9.99.

Only £4.99 to you, Tim.

And I'll throw in a copy of Don Rushmore Investigates.

Can we do a swap?

I'll trade you for a copy of Tim Walker's Guide To Petulant Closet-Homosexual Method Actors, Synovial Books, RRP £11.99. It's worth the price just for the chapter on [name removed for legal reasons] - the well-known 4am dog-walker.

Does his name rhyme with Spevin Kacey?

That would be a slanderous asssertion, zooo. Spevin Kacey is not, as far as I know, a method actor.

True. Sorry Spevin.
May you and your wife have a happy, consumated, marriage.

A good point, well made.

Unfortunately, you're wrong.

Mitchell therefore wins.

Why is everyone turning on Robert Webb? I reckon it's cos he's the cooler of the two and obviously it's just in the nature of most comedy writers to side with the biggest loser.
The only sitcom Mitchell was in without Webb (which I can recall anyway) was Jam And Jerusulam - surely that has to confirm that as an actor he is not in the same league as the the Robert De Niro of British comedy?

Why is everyone turning on Robert Webb?

Because he is f**king useless.

I think the original question is misleading. It's a bit like asking "what do you prefer, chalk or cheese?". Well I prefer cheese, but I never use it on a blackboard. I think Mitchell is on his way to being something very special, a national comedy treasure, but in Peep Show, Webb's performance is great. Together, the results are great. Just like eating chalk and Cheddar.

Although, compared with 'The Weather Brain' - he is a f**king genius.

It wasn't meant as a personal dig, Matthew. :)
