I loved the Black Beauty theme tune. And yes, it does have words. They just all happened to be 'der' spelt in various ways.
Favourite theme tunes (which have lyrics) Page 4

$$$$$$$$
Best:
Welcome Back Kotter
Maude
Mister Rogers' Neighborhood
Worst:
Executive Stress (our local public TV station just started airing
this and the theme tune is awful)

I've not heard of any of these.

Father Ted theme with lyrics, now that's just nice.
Well I'm not the kind to kiss and tell
but I've been seen with Farah.
I've never been with anything less than a nine
So fine.
I've been on fire with Sally Fields
gone fast with a girl named Bo
but somehow they just don't end up as mine.
It's a death-defying life I lead
I take my chances.
I die for a livin' in the movies and T.V.
But the hardest thing I ever do
is watch my leadin' ladies
kiss some other guy
While I'm bandagin' my knees.
I might fall from a tall building
I might roll a brand-new car
'cause I'm the unknown stuntman
That made Redford such a star.
I've never spent much time in school
but I taught ladies plenty.
It's true I hire my body out for pay (a-hey, hey).
I've got burned over Cheryl Tiegs
Blown up for Raquel Welch
But when I end up in the hay it's only hay (hey, hey).
I might jump an open drawbridge
Or Tarzan from a vine
'cause I'm the unknown stuntman
that makes Eastwood lookes so fine.

My favourite band ever.
Sounds like a vicar singing imo.
But a highly talented Vicar.
They may be brilliant but I reserve the right to resent them for being so damn succesful.
Guess and win a cookie!
THERE'S A VOICE,
THAT KEEPS ON CALLING ME.
DOWN THE ROAD,
IS WHERE I'LL ALWAYS BE.
EVERY STOP I MAKE,
I'LL MAKE A NEW FRIEND.
CAN'T STAY FOR LONG, JUST TURN AROUND AND I'M GONE AGAIN.
MAYBE TOMORROW, I'LL WANNA SETTLE DOWN,
UNTIL TOMORROW, I'LL JUST KEEP MOVING ON
SO IF YOU WANNA JOIN ME FOR A WHILE,
JUST GRAB YOUR HAT, COME TRAVEL LIGHT,
THAT'S HOBO STYLE.
MAYBE TOMORROW, I'LL WANT TO SETTLE DOWN,
UNTIL TOMORROW, I'LL JUST KEEP MOVING ON.
(It's cut and pasted, I haven't just got my caps lock jammed)
The littelest Homo starring Tom Cruise acting rough.

Ah, yes, The Fall Guy... What a load of old bollocks that was.
The other greatest ever theme tune of all time, of course, was for Jamie And The Magic Torch. When I conducted a random poll of myself 100 times, it came in 2nd. QED...
I liked that too.
Mmmm Heather Thomas...
