I've never watched Doctors. What's it about?

Doctors.

Doctors.

of Philosophy. It is surprisingly highbrow for afternoon TV.

Is highbrow code for 'usual soap-like surreal situations'?

Like, eg, a 19 yr old having sex with his best friend's grandma... twice... without protection... or a blindfold.

Doctors, Wednesday.

.And other stuff

I was going to say that it'd taken you a while. :P

Doctors.

That's a bit obvious, isn't it?

That's the way I deal the cards. Surely you've noticed that about me.

12 - moderate nudity and sex references.

Mmmn... there was only one full frontal, non-sexual nude pose in the original version. Thesedays that probably doesn't warrant a 15. You may be in for a wank after all. :)

It's not exactly House (with apologies to Marc P). :)

Bought mine so no apologies necessary! ;)

It was a jape. I have seen Doctors, and I know and would have been able to guess what it was about.

I loved the episode where they traveled into deep space and rescued those monkeys from an evil Ken Dodd.

I hate that Northern toss.

Actually the good thing about Doctors is that each episode has it's own story of the day. Some are completely stand alone. It's an incredibly good opportunity for new, and old, writers to tell their own stories. They can be funny, they can be sad, they can be outlandish, they can be whatever you want them to be really. I have certainly got more comedy into Doctors than I have in any other [non sketch] show that I have written for.

Yes, it's a pity it's on at ten past two every afternoon and I miss it. Has there been a best of DVD yet? Or a BBC Four retrospective? :)
