Well, seeing as it's on 11pm on BBC7, I'd say about five. And that's just writers from here, listening out for their stuff.
Of course I am only joking...

Just sent in some Vox Pops - lets hope noothing big in the news occurs overnight!
Wow, sent it in and within seconds I got my Auto-reply. They must be reading this forum!

I've had the auto-reply previous weeks but not this one. I think maybe the Budget only runs to a set number of auto-replies.
Who is Newsjack aimed at? What's the audience?
Most radio listeners (allegedly) range from 35 to death.
But I'm sure Newsjack also attracts the younger audience, namely 25+
Has any one thought that with it's probable small number of listeners we could probably influence it by writing in as listeners?
Dear Newsjack,
Topical radio shows don't feature enough paedophile robots or bad grammar.
Yours sincerely
Sootyj (Mrs)
PS I fancy you rotten fancy coming to the pictures with me?
I've gone for the more conventional "I'm a Nigerian barrister. I would like to deposit $20000000000 into your bank account" approach myself.
I would send them the viagra advert, but I've completely sold out of paracetamol.

It's great that our expectations are now so low that how quick we get an Auto-reply is seen as a mark of success!
From www.twitter.com/tetsell - The man himself!
"Script editing Newsjack no. 5. Quick look at pile tells me 'phone hacking' is this week's 'spies on Facebook'."
PS I'm NOT Following him and I wouldn't recommend anyone else do either!!!
Yup. That's why I stayed well away from that topic this week.

Thanks Biddy - although you might want to rethink your shmoozing methods.
I still went for hacking as one of mine this week. They don't like my sketches anyway so I'm pretty much writing them to amuse myself. I crack me up at least.
I didn't get an auto reply on my vox pops either so I have a ready made excuse for failure this week.
Good luck to everyone else though!
Jx
I avoided it as well. I can write useless rubbish on myriad other topics so why waste time on the same one everyone else has written about.
Dan
What's the deadline for vox pops and corrections?
I wrote ONE vox pop about phone tapping/hacking/whatever.
Funnily enough, I thought that would be old news now. Not exactly breaking news. So last week!
My sketches were pretty generic, but I saw on the Beeb news site the other day that Ross Kemp has been offered 12 more documentary shows by Sky, so I rewrote an old Ross Kemp sketch of mine about Ross not wanting to do any more dangerous shows, whereas the TV boss suggests really dangerous stuff.
***** EDIT ****
Deadline for vox pops is 5pm Tuesday.
I just sent one Vox Pop today, but it's a humzinger!
Three Vox Pops away - autoreply received
