(Actually another Banksy copy.)

Off to see the Banksy exhibition at Bristol Museum this afternoon.

I should get that sorted...

It on through to the end of August, I believe... :)

*nod* I think so too.

I like Jeremy's letter to his bank from the Peep Show script-book...

:D Is there a lot of stuff like that in the book?

Can you type it all up?

Pleased Yes, can you?

I'm on dodgy enough ground quoting part of it anyway. (BTW - in case it was not obvious enough - that was an extract from Peep Show - The Scripts And More - Written by Jesse Armstrong & Sam Bain, Foreword by Mitchell and Webb - Channel 4 Books.)

As well as all scripts series 1-5 and an excellent 'Genesis Of An Episode', showing previous drafts and pre-production notes, it also has snippets such as Jeremy and Mark's school reports, Mark's experiments in toast, Business Secrets Of The Pharoahs, plus JLB email mail correspondence between Mark and Sophite after the wedding. Oh and exchanged notes written about Mark's missing foodstuffs.

Cool, will check it out. Cheers. :)

It ate a disc and wouldn't disgorge it. All the while it made horrible grinding and thunking sounds. I made it even worse when I started jamming things in the drive to dislodge the disc. Whistling nnocently

Hmmm...
The only thing on should jam in, is a straightened paperclip in the hole provided specifically for this.

If 'enlightened' Apple designers are fool enough to believe that their designs are 'totally reliable' and don't need this escape clause hole, then you are right stuffed.

Design criteria should not override essential functions, but alas Apple often forget this essential principle.

================
One of the music publishers (Sony?) once stupidly produced an audio CD when contained a copyright protection program. Unfortunately the effect on certain Apple Macs was that it stopped the CD eject from working. Those computers that had no paper-clip eject hole, had to go back to Apple to get the CD out.

F**k the bank! Bastards! Angry

It's my own fault for not reading the tome of T&C they sent. But apparently they've changed my interest charges date. And now I'm flushing money down the toilet.

Natwest = Super Gay.

I never read through those things either. They're so bloody long-winded and confusing. I just make sure I log on and transfer funds between my accounts regularlyish. Which reminds me...

(My account's currently got an interest-free overdraft of quite a lot anyway.)

Jeremy Usbourne (or, as you seem to know me, 81867321)
Flat 10
Apollo House

Dear Sir or Person or most probably Brutal Machine

All right. So. Got your letter today. Thanks for that. I was already feeling shit. No milk as per, etc. So, regarding the 'letter', thanks a lot, that was nice and yes, I got the implication. You have a lot of money and I don't have that much and you're clearly not embarrassed about using that fact to try to 'lord it over me'.

Well, thought you might like to take five minutes from running sweat shops, turfing widows out of their favelas and feeding babies poisoned formula milk full of conflict diamonds to have a read of this.

To answer your point - yes, fair dos, I accept it is possible that I am overdrawn. I don't actually keep independent records so I am forced to accept your version of events.

However. Here's the situation. And no, I don't feel good about it. And no, your letter didn't make me feel any better. But I don't actually have any 'funds' to put into my account. Not today nor over the next 48 hours, so I suppose you will have to carry out your vague threats.

So, look, we can either carry on or we can sort out a new arrangement. Clean break. We've both made mistakes. You probably feel ashamed for lending the money and maybe I shouldn't have spent it all, but these things happen, I've frankly had enough of your 'guilt trips'.

What do you want? I'm doing my best. I've emailed you an mp3 for you to have a listen to, which is getting major traction. Maybe after you've listened to that you'd like to have another think about my overdraft limit and maybe you should check what Bono and Prince and Moby's overdraft limits are and get back to me, yeah?

Thanks, dickheads.

Yours truly,

Laughing out loud

I need beer.

Bugger. I should have bought that then. (I saw it recently for ... £2, I think.)

No hole on the case. There may be a hole inside the slot somewhere, but it'd be hidden by the brushy stuff that keeps out dust.
