I tore my Macbook apart, replaced the DVD drive and reassembled it. I'll be damned if it ain't working.

I curse the Chinese guy who decided that fifty 2mm screws would be a good method of holding everything together.

It ate a disc and wouldn't disgorge it. All the while it made horrible grinding and thunking sounds. I made it even worse when I started jamming things in the drive to dislodge the disc. Whistling nnocently

I just snapped a Macbook webcam photo of the sun setting over my tomato plants. It's 95 degrees but seemed cool enough to sit out on the deck and enjoy a Guinness.

I was in an airport and it was making so much noise that people were staring. After I inserted a credit card and my driver license the noises became even more gruesome.

Notice the mini Stonehenge I constructed using huge chunks of limestone I found buried 2 inches under the surface of the garden.

That's how big the 'Henge is in real life.

Beer's empty, the sun has almost winked out of existence and the mosquitoes are out. Time to return to the cave I call my bedroom.
