Ok, I've finally caved in and started listening to a Jackson 5 greatest hits collection. But only because I'm old enough and raised-in-Indiana-enough to consider it a trip down nostalgia lane.

Best J5 songs:

Hum along and dance
The life of the party
What you don't know
Get it together
Dancing machine
ABC
Rockin' Robin

Rockin' Robin

Bobby Day's version is far the superior.

one comic made the mistake of giving the mic to a fifteen-year-old boy who then let rip calling everyone in the tent "c**ts and motherf**kers".

Awesome. :D

You in Bristol, Nil?

Yes (but not right now).

There was a comedy tent, and I saw a few acts (who were OK). Tim Walker's mate Paul Sinha stormed it, he was really good.

You've heard it from Griff!

So check out where Paul's playing at www.paulsinha.com :)

Cameo - Word Up.

Yeah the Charlatans played, they weren't bad. Their stuff all sounds a bit the same to me though, so they only really did it for me with their "hits" like The Only One I Know. Toploader were on as well, they were OK. And Eddi Reader (ex Fairground Attraction) was good although she seems to have gone utterly batshit bonkers since I last saw her.

Another big Pulp fan here, by the way. Weirdly I could have gone to see them loads of times for free at Uni (I was at Sheffield and they were always on at the clubs I used to go to like the Limit and the Leadmill) but never bothered, and only really got into them when they got massive ten (?) years later. Damn.

Were Pulp there then? Or am I misunderstanding?

And what was Joe Bonamasso like?
