I've downloaded this and I'm looking forward to watching it.
Getting On - Series 1 Page 2
Hm, can't say I noticed. Don't we all stumble over our words in real life though? Maybe they were going into a level of realism that not even Ricky Gervais dared touch.
Like I said, no biggy. But I think you're giving her too much credit saying it was deliberate.
On the show itself, I particularly enjoy the discussions about the poo on the chair and them eating the cake whilst talking to the bereaved sister.
And the big bloke (Ricky something is it) was good too. I can't normally stand him.
Well, I'm not saying it was deliberate as such, because I didn't even notice it. Just questioning how 'bad' it may have been.
Ricky Grover, yeah, ditto, not normally a fan of his myself.
Well, I didn't say it was bawful and hopefully she'll improve throughout the series. I can't remember her acting before.
That's the one. Normally just loud.
I started to watch this last night and found it dire, although I was tired and thought it might be like The Royle Family - which took me ages to get into.
Did anything happen other than someone pooing on a chair?
Not really. It was mostly just NHS middle-management criticism.

Well an asteroid was hurtling towards Earth and they had six minutes to stop it, but the world's power systems all failed and only Bruce Willis (in a cameo appearance) could stop the world being destroyed, but he needed emergency laser eye surgery....
So you didn't miss much.

Now that I would of watched. Perhaps it's me, I work in nursing homes so I see poo left in inappropiate places everyday.
I watched it today, I really liked it.
It was quite similar to The Thick of It in tone, or style, or something.
Another good episode. Ivy was cracking. And Capaldi was a nice bonus.
Yep, another good episode.
Capaldi was a pleasant surprise.
I loves this show.
There's only three isn't there?
Look, it's reeeeeeal!
What are they like in the rest of the country?
