British Comedy Guide

Hello everyone

Ello, I've been a-lurking here for a while now reading your lovely threads and thought it was time to chime in on some of the topics! I love comedy, and I love talking about it and you all seem like a fairly like-minded bunch of people.

I'm from the west-country and I like things. I'm fully prepared for any cider/Wurzels/Justin Lee Collins jibes. :D

Look forward to posting here!

Hey! :D

Hiya. Wave

Hi there. Don't worry you have fellow country folk around here. Where in the West Country bist you? Wave

Justin Lee Collins is not a joking matter.

But welcome.

I can't think of any jibes. It's too late.

Hello, country bumpkin.

Welcome Bekonah.

No west country jibes from me.

Is your avatar Michael Jacksons death-mask? I hope not.

Hello. Wave

Wurzel Gummage was not from the West Country, I believe he was from East Anglia. I have no evidence to back this up but that it my assertion and I stand by it. (No change there.)

I can't find anything saying where he came from... Well, y'know, country folk, largely the same anyway. Cool

(Worzel Gummidge*)

I think it's the Worzel/Wurzels thing. Worzel Gummidge used to scare the crap out of me. Brrrr

Is your avatar Michael Jacksons death-mask? I hope not.

It's actually the face of MJ on a piece of toast, he's everywhere these days!

I'm just outside of Bristol, southward for those who want to know!
