Oh Jack returns and teams up with ninja bitch and Super PA and 2 random gayers.
Torchwood... Page 33

In what way though? That Torchwood found a way to defeat them?
F**k! That was good. Captain Jack you bastard. I'm glad the Welsh polcie officer got to have a fight.
N.B. the Dr's got a mobile hasn't he? Surely a text at the very least would have been in order.

Jack Leaves, She has a kid and leaves and Lurch kicks the bucket.
I wonder, when it does come back, if they'll do a proper series, or something like this again. I think I'd be quite happy to see another stripped story like this as opposed to thirteen new tales. It just worked. This is certainly the best the show has ever been, by some distance.
Capaldi you twat.
Although that sequence was awwwwwwesome.
F**king brilliant series.
But then I always liked it unlike you bandwagon jumpers!
(Ha, only kidding, I know it's been different this time. Much darker too. It was always good though. You bunch of snobs.)

Yeah, you could argue that, but it would have fealt like a bit of a cop out to have him pop up to save the day.

Ridiculously wrong.
But it was good that they at least mentioned him. It would have seemed silly otherwise.
I'd like to see the same principles applied to Who. You can see how focusing on one story allowed them to concentrate the budget and make everything look cool. As oposed to lots of crappy looking one offs.
N.B. the 456 were an ace example of how you can do good monster effects on a budget.

Yes you are.

Agreed. Lets not rely on a saviour from the stars to bail us out.
I may be incredibly geeky here, but wasn't there a torchwood in Glasgow 'A strange little man' and 'we'll find torchwood 4 one day'.

Would have been shit I was being facetious.
