I think having them all go to jail, and yet just carry on as normal with the stupid little conversations, was quite a nice little twist.
Finally, I'm into Seinfeld Page 5
Read somewhere lately that Jerry and Jason, as Jerry and George obv,for some reason, filmed a scene in Momks where they discussed how their stay in prison had been-dont kmow why as I know there's not going to be any new seinfeld episodes

Yeah that was okay, but the whole lame plot of how they got put in jail and all the namedropping of earlier episodes was terrible... a real cop out.
what was clever was the last chat about the button, which was what jerry and george were talking about at th beginning of the pilot episode
Much as I tried and tried, I could never warm to this show. Yes, I know it's incredibly clever, witty and well-written. Yes, it re-defined (to some extent) the boundaries of what a popular sitcom could be. I could just never emotionally connect to the characters. It was too much of an always "on", faux-neuroses driven comedy for me. I never got the appeal of Kramer, Jerry or Elaine. It was far too much of the self-absorbed "Did I miss a meeting?" school of comedy. (There was a very good parody sketch on the BBC years ago of this Seinfeld type of comedy with Vic & Bob in it - the recurring punchline was "Did I miss a meeting?") Just found the characters too ego-driven and the show itself a bit too knowingly clever: which diminished the undeniably funny stuff it contained. I realise this is blasphemy to some. I really did try.

I'm giving you an F mister Walker, meet me after class.
An 'F'? Did I miss a meeting?
Finally, I still haven't watched it. Is it any good then? Really, honest?

That's not a bad summing up. Although I do like the show a lot, I don't love it in the way I love Arrested Development, 30 Rock or Cheers.
Love the Sein.
I never got into it either. I watched about 3 episodes from series 1 and thought it was shit. A lot of the jokes just seemed obvious but they still telegraphed them and then beat them to death afterwards.
I might give a later series a go one day, if I can be arsed.

Eee, how may times? If you want to get into it, watch episodes from series three onwards, because that's when it turns from good to great. (Even so, series one isn't 'shit')
And if you consider yourself a comedy fan, then you really should be arsed to give such a highly rated show a chance!!!
If it helps, I did love the 'Master Of My Domain' episode and 'The Soup Nazi', Stotty?
No more soup for you!
I'm out!
Two classic lines and episodes

Too little too late Tim!
