I've learnt in the past about girls and presents. Top ten to never give her:
10. A Blender - You're telling her to cook for you. A big no-no.
9. Tickets to something the bloke wants to see. Oh God, big no-no.
8. Clothes - This can go either way, if you know her size and style go for it. If you're not absolutely sure of both then stay well away.
7. Gift Cards - You'll be pretty much be showing her that you're the most unimaginative, boring git in the world.
6. Gym Membership - Unless she specifically asked for it, don't give it or you'll surely be sending the wrong message and she'll be sending a painful one to you.
5. A cinema ticket - Don't get one and make her go on her own.
4. Anything that you like - No DVD players, no TVs, nothing like that, instead make her feel special and buy her a toilet seat or something.
3. A Puppy - This can be tempting, she's sure to love it at first, but what about once it done its business and then needs to go for a walk and then barks all night. Unless she's explicitly told you she wants a puppy don't get her one.
2. Anything you see on TV - Even if it is cool, odds are she'll see the same infomercial at some point and immediately think less of the gift. I got Jenny Torchwood - Series 1 but it worked because its in my collection now.
1. Nothing - A sure way to never have to worry about giving her anything again. I go for this one the most.
But doesn't the Avatar "belong" to someone - so it does?
