Okay - lets work through this idea.

First you need a venue.

What is recommended?

Pub? If so how does the promoter make cash? Doesn't the landlord take the cash?

Where else can you hold such an event.

Most cities have a comedy club of one sort or another.

With the clout of the BCG [?] behind you and a bill full of sparkling BCG member stand-up talent, how could they not let you put on a show?

Most pubs don't charge they're glad of the extra drinkers, there's lots of people like Mirth Control who provide acts (you have to pay).

Most acts are advertised on signs outside the pub or websites no one reads.

Merely posing the thought that some one with the willingness to make money out of Amway could probably transpose those skills, to a little bit of advertising, viraling etc.

Well its worth thinking about.

Most comedy nights I know are organsied by comics who want a slot to perform and don't mind making a loss.
Chance to be MC give them selves a 15 minute slot and attract some better comucs who'll get them an audience kinda thing.

What the hell is Amway? Is it like Betterware or something?

I've been doing that for a month and I'm going mental. I'm getting less writing done than when I had a job.

Couldn't you just pretend you ate Subways everyday or something?

What the hell is Amway?

I don't know? What the hell is Amway with you?

Don't they have a special range for the eccentric?
Amway with the faeries?

I used to work as a programmer for a multilevel marketing system. Took care of the databases and handled the credit card fraud cases.

Pyramid systems are illegal now but as we did and the others followed suit they now re-arrange the pyramid and disguise the pyramid as a matrix, Amway included. It is possible to make a bit of money but not much, making a living off it is very rare. There is a clever but very simple way to break the pyramid or matrix to cash in bigger, but my advise is stay away from them, too much hassle, too little or no profit.

If you want to work from home you're better off going to Alibaba, finding something in a niche market to sell, import it from Asia then Ebay it.
I used to do this with re-enactment medieval swords and made a fortune, until eBay banned them.

Well?

Its a range of product's - household, health and beauty that you sell.

That simple.

The beauty stuff - like avon!

As Griff and Soots say, you get extra bonuses if you get someone else to start selling the stuff as well. Hence the pyramid selling thing - although legally it is not.

As Griff says you can easily piss off your mates asking them to sign up.

......

So anyone want to sign up? ;)
