British Comedy Guide

Best news in a looong time!

Not sure if this is the right place for this one, but we got an email over the weekend -

B&R,

I'm so sorry it's taken me so long to get back to you. Just a brief one as it's late on a Friday – it's very rarely I laugh out loud reading scripts but yours did it for me.

I've forwarded them on to my colleague Kat Hebden and she'll try to have a look soon. It's a busy time for us (as ever) but we'd like to promote you as Blindside writers as the right projects come up. We're also interested in developing your own material, possibly as low-budget internet films (a la Cold Light of Day – was I've Got Her Number influenced by that at all? Not a bad thing if it was – definitely distinct enough, just wondering). We're also looking at the possibilities of comedy writing for internet viral marketing campaigns as a quicker route to getting you established.

All the best,

David

Good stuff Balf!

Well done sounds like your well on the ladder.

My scripts only ever get forwarded to the Police.

Thanks guys.

Could we see one of those scripts? Or one similar to the break through one?

That's brilliant Balf - keep us updated on your progress!

:)
