:$ oh....but its not phonetic, is it? I thought you say is lisp unless you actually have one

It's getting freaking confusing. >_<

As for being a racist homophobe, she wrote an article about her mixed-race baby. It's quite amusing in an interesting-point-but-couldn't-have-made-it-in-a-worse-way kind of way.

Laughing out loud
Yes I read that article.
She also has interesting opinions about gay people being 'allowed' to work in politics.

She is a nut.

Yeah yeah yeah. That's what I meant. They're just being awkward. It's "lisp". Pronounced "lisp". Unless you have a lisp, in which case it's "lisp" pronounced "lithp".

When that other Conservative MP went to Labour a couple of months ago, he was on Newsnight talking about it, and couldn't stop laughing. It was utterly brilliant. Might be able to find it on YouTube or something if you look.

She's an idiot.

I listened to the discussion about it on Vanessa. The reactions of some were hi-la-rious.

'It's not rocket science' meaning something is not complicated, when actually, rocket science is, in it's basic theory at least, about as simple as it gets. You can illustrate the basic thrust principle with a wheeled office chair and a medicine ball.

'We don't want to re invent the wheel' = why the hell not? The wheel is one of the most successful inventions of all time. If it could be improved upon and re patented there is surely unlimited potential for global sales?

'Lets run it up the flag pole and see who salutes'. Lets ram the flag pole up your arse and see if anybody cares more like.

Wasn't that last one more a Gus-ism than something people actually say/said?
