What I miss from my childhood... Page 3

Erm, haven't we just got bigger?

Prices have too. Walker's Snaps were 3p (advert voiced by Harry H. Corbet), Mars Bars were 7p and you could buy halfpenny chews too.

And you'd have enough money left over for a comic book and the bus ride home, with change to spare.

I have recently discovered a designer sweet shop in the US.

Way too pricey but love the ideas there!

I miss being able to run around my garden in the sprinkler just wearing my knickers and it not being a big deal.

I don't think we'd mind if you did it again.

Don't say things like that during the middle of the day! How am I supposed to concentrate at work this afternoon?

For the record, I used to do that too with my cousins who lived next door - we were/are all about the same age but the thought of us doing it now aged 40 is little short of terrifying.

Maybe me and you could do it then?

I used to do that, but in a swimming costume.

I'm no tart, like you lot. ;)

We've never had a sprinkler.

Actually, ours was just the garden hose head, shoved between 2 bricks so it went up. :)

I gots details, and you're gonna read 'em whether you like it or not. :)

Fern slides. Better than tobogganing.

I miss my 'Uncle' Steve sticking his finger up my bottom. I used to get loads of sweets and everything. He was going to take me to Alton Towers for the weekend, but the police came and took him away.

My Mum told everyone he got a job in Wales.
