Ice Age 3D

Just got back from the cinema after watching my first-ever proper 3D movie - Ice Age 3. Absolutely astounding visuals...it really does feel like you can reach into the screen and touch the characters. (And sometimes the characters are reaching out of the screen to touch you!) I was making a tit of myself the first 10 minutes by continually going "Wow" out loud at the spectacle.

The film's pretty damn funny in parts too - Simon Pegg's turn as Buck The Weasel a particular highlight.

Definitely recommended...and pay the extra few quid for the 3D screening...it's worth every penny.

UPDATE:
Look at this idiot, all excited with his 3d glasses on. What a knob.

Ahem. Okay it's me.

:D

My girlfriend saw it yesterday, also said it was awesome.
Bitch didn't take me with her.

Was looking forward to this 'til I heard it's in 3D, kinda put me off a wee bit... but not any more! :)

I've been to see a few of the recent 3d movies.
The technology is much better these days, and the Cartoons look great.
I definitely fancy going to see Ice age 3 with the specs on.

I looked like a right plum.

Heh...you should've seen my little boy James (7) in them. He looked like he was wearing those Elton John glasses you get in joke shops. Ma-hoosive.

There was another 3D film trailed which looks ace as well. It was called Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs". Also Pixar's new 3D movie "Up" looked amazing.

Honest, I'm totally psyched about this 3D stuff, it's truly fab. I want to see a 3D movie at an IMax theatre next.

Cool man, thanks for the recommendation. My wife loves those movies but didn't care too much for the 2nd.

I can't wait for Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs. It was my favourite book and a kid and is the standard for all the books I buy my kids now.
