Damn these damn rules!
At least I have enough entries now for the next 149 one-page play contests.
Or I could sell them to the Guardian. lol
I read some of them yesterday, but they didn't really do anything for me.
i.e. they just seemed to be conversations the author had overheard that just ended abruptly.
Quote: Marc P @ June 30 2009, 5:27 PM BSTThe main thing for a play is to have three acts. Sketches don't have to have them.
I wish you'd said that earlier. I only had two acts in my one page play
Mine has a fifteen minute interval in the middle, so people can grab an ice cream or a coffee.

Even a one act play should have three acts.
Doesn't matter how long it is.
Well I know for next time. I shall blame it on that being the first ever play wot I wrote.

Is that the law?
Quote: Chappers @ July 1 2009, 1:58 PM BSTIs that the law?
It is.
The other competition for Loft is for a 90 minute maximum play with JUST ONE ACT.
Quote: Griff @ July 1 2009, 2:51 PM BSTMarc is of course referring to story acts rather than performance acts.
Of course he is.
Oh - too late now! Bugger!
So did anyone else enter? I got mine into the final, but I've heard nowt since.

Well done James. I know someone who got a rejection email but I didn't even get that so mine must have been really bad.
Let us know if you find out how you did! And who you're giving the money too.
