I haven't been able to drink lager (more than a half) for few years now.
I've noticed in pubs recently it's been either Jamesons or JD and no Scottish whisky.

Hmmm. That's not my experience. Lot's of pubs round my way have a selection of Scottish stuff like Jura, Laiphroig ( I know I've not spelt that right!) etc. For me, it's Whiskey all the way. I find most the 'good' Scottish stuff too peaty and I can't abide blended whisky.
Rob 'the snob'.

I like the cheap stuff with coke. Other than that it's Glenmorangie or Glenfiddich mainly - sort of honeyish. I don't really like Jack Daniels but used to drink it as a teen with bands, thiking it was rock 'n' roll.

I'm a bit of a cock with this whole thing. I really like Irish Whiskey, but won't drink Scotch at all. I'm not entirely sure if it's because I don't like it, or that I so want to be actually, really Irish that I have persuaded myself that I can only drink the whiskey of my pretend ancestors.
But Jack Daniels is a big no.
I used to drink JD. Gives you a massive headache if you have too much.

Ha, well I'm quite Scottish and Irish!

It can taste a bit syrupy too.

Also true of most alcohol.
I have spent my adult life researching this fact.

What a coincidence! I'm English with delusions!!
I don't really touch booze anymore. I can't really. But that is good because it goes straight to my head and I go all giggly from sniff of the cap off a bottle of babycham.
So, do I break out the JD, the Bushmills or the Dewars White Label? Tough decision. Gotta celebrate the 4th of July somehow.

*Hands Roo a cap off a bottle of Babycham before wondering if this will result in all the other chicks on the site getting jealous.*
Alcohol-free Becks, yummy...

*Points out that they won't because you can buy a four pack at Asda for £2.*

That's not me.
(joke only works if you know my name).
Tee hee.

Ah, but it's me corking it. The corkage charge is... illegal in three and a half counties.

Bushmills. How old is it?
(I warned you I was a cock when it came to this!)
