Christ don't they want to see a bit of the world before they get involved in all that shite !
Such a lack of interest in life depresses me in one so young.
I'd love to get a chance to go straight into banking. Make a f**king mint. *pupils turn to £-signs*
Really not sure how footballers particularly are the exception though? :-/

Quote: Kent Pete @ August 18, 2007, 11:28 PMMy Dad was a bit of a Shit too, but that's for the Psychiatrist's couch not a comedy writer's forum !!.
Well, strictly speaking this isn't a comedy writers' forum.
Quote: RubyMae - Glamourous Snowdrop at large. @ August 18, 2007, 11:29 PMThe reason you get less students traveling after studies is....
A) They are in an alarming heap of debt.
B) You live off £6000 a year and tell me you want to travel the world rather than earn real money!
Exactly. Give it a few years, and we'll really see the damage that the previous few Governments have done to the education system and youth of this country.
(£6,000 seems a bit generous as a student cashflow though!)
Quote: Gavin @ August 18, 2007, 11:31 PMI love my big fat wage packet I bathe in my money it's lovely.
ROFL. The image I get is just brilliant (just like Cyril Sneer). If I only I could do the same though! (Note to self: Stop buying crap on eBay.)
Quote: Kent Pete @ August 18, 2007, 11:33 PMJust think it's a case of priorities . So many people are desperate to get into the rat race before they have seen a bit of the world.
Ok, so just how do you propose that they fund this? Now that the top-up fees are coming in, the average student is going to be in some ridiculous sum like £36,000 of debt upon graduation.
In any case, I personally am more than happy to travel in my holidays.
