I believe this, more than anything, determined Jack Straw's decision.

He's just a f**king twat. He's got no idea and should go back to Oz.

Biggs committed a crime and an innoncent man was murdered, the Krays murdered people and terrorised London - 'life should mean life'.

But if they did it now they'd get such ridiculously lenient sentences.

Biggs is a twat, put bluntly. A man's death (albeit later) was "just a tap on the head."

He died of Leukemia.

He's just a f**king twat.

Yep. Looks much better without the goggles, mind.

But he did it in the 1960s and got a 1960s sentence. Its his own fault he's now serving it in the 21st century. And, if he'd shown remorse and not courted the press he would have been out.

However you look at it, its HIS fault.

He died of Leukemia.

I know. That's why I put some weasel words in there. And anyway, you can catch leukemia from a hit on the head. I saw it on East Enders. :P

Ronnie Biggs' lawyers are now claiming that 2 laws Jack Straw relied upon in making his decision are invalid.

I feel an appeal looming.

He hasn't got long I understand.

It says on the news that three prison staff are guarding him at hospital - which is f**king stupid to say the least.

It was a different time back then it was all about the family and with the Krays and the Richardsons you could leave your door open and dry slaps were dished out to people who didn't respect the nighbourhood (or stole all your stuff cause you left the front door open).

So let this charming ol timer out...

:D

I'll laugh when he gets up and dances a sprightly jig as soon as his release papers are signed.
