BBC axes Robin Hood Page 2

It was crap. Sorry to be so blunt but it was. One episode and I never returned. Same with Merlin and Primeval. Doctor Who's alright though.

With Dr Who Russell T. Davies, for all his faults, was passionate about what he was doing. Perhaps the BBC would do better producing programmes they really believed in rather than designing them by committee to appeal to a "demographic".

I waited and waited for this to turn up on BBC America. When it finally did premiere I was so disappointed. I watched most of the first series and then lost interest.

What they should do in the time vacated by 'The Hood' is extend Totally Saturday. If there was ever a format that was high culture surely this must be it. My dislike of Graham Norton is well documented but surely this guy just takes the money and runs never mind what drivel he has to front.

Laughing out loud

This really was one of the worst versions I'd seen.

Robin always seemed too much of a wimp and it was too politically correct.

Never watched it, but my daughters tell me it's rubbish. And 10 year olds essentially enjoy anything shiny, so it must have been poor.
