Things that piss me off

Now the NME has turned into a bloody tabloid with their moral and journalistic values. This is the headline from NME.com

The Cribs lash out at James Morrison at V

This is what they actually said.

As the band launched into 'I've Tried Everything', Ryan quipped: "Right I want you to cheer as loud as you can so James Morrison can hear us from the Main Stage."

How is that lashing out? Stupid news should be taken outside and shot grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

I dont like The Cribs full stop-worst band by far to play at Wireless when I went-was just loads of noise! only good bit was when Ryan (I think) crowd surfed, had his shirt stolen in the process, then collapsed for a minute or so when lifted out :D

Young 18/21 yr olds who leave school/Uni and go straight into the City or Banking etc, infact any career[ with possible exception of football and the Arts ].

Christ don't they want to see a bit of the world before they get involved in all that shite !

Such a lack of interest in life depresses me in one so young.

Also I'm not too keen on Swindon

Christ don't they want to see a bit of the world before they get involved in all that shite !

My Dad was a bit of a Shit too, but that's for the Psychiatrist's couch not a comedy writer's forum !!.

The reason you get less students traveling after studies is....

A) They are in an alarming heap of debt.

B) You live off £6000 a year and tell me you want to travel the world rather than earn real money!

I love my big fat wage packet I bathe in my money it's lovely. Screw the world I have the discovery channel their cameras are loads better then my eyes are more intelligent people are telling me what things are lol

Just think it's a case of priorities . So many people are desperate to get into the rat race before they have seen a bit of the world. I just find it depressing that so many lack a real sence of adventure and a genuine inquisitiveness about things that haven't got a £ sign attached..

I would love to travel but the £12000 debt tends to be a main focus for me. I also want my own place and this will be hard until my debt is cleared.

To be honest, unless you are training to be something like a Doctor or lawyer or something, uni is a load of hyped up bull. People go expecting a great career at the end and it only happens for a few plus if you are from a low income family, it's crippling despite having your fees paid. Before looking into uni, I think you should also look at other options and way them up. I'm doing Open Uni for example now for my other degree. It takes longer but at least I can earn a decent wage at the same time.

Couldn't agree more and it prevents people from going off travelling. What people say is, " I'll do it when my debts are cleared " , that never happens, and before you know where you are you have a mortgage and kids .

It's a trap and only the very brave or imaginative avoid it.
