Laughing out loud they could do worse than use that.

I'll bet any money you like (Max £5) that we hear the exact phrase somewhere in the show. Has to be.

Robin Hood's Death is considered to be one of the oldest of the surviving Robin Hood ballads.

Exactly. That whole "bury me where my arrow lands" bit.

I should probably write a couple of vox pops and send them off this morning.

There's a sketch in there, surely. Not topical, but.

Yep.

I'm sure I've seen someone do something very similar. Dave Allen perhaps?

Don't know if anyone's noticed but the brief on the Newsjack website seems to have changed slightly...

Some regulars are no longer mentioned (eg readers' letters, celebrity diary) and they're a little more specific on formattting (eg avoiding PDFs).

Good spot clueless, thanks for pointing that out.

Oh and I got an email today asking me to rewrite a sketch, so fingers crossed and all that.

Nice one. That's a good sign.

Good luck with that Griff.

Excellent - fingers duly crossed.

Thanks for the spot, I've been sending PDFs so I won't be anymore.

Nice job on the sketch Griff and also on your Writer's Guild article. Me and a few friends are thinking of trying to put on a sketch night in Cardiff so it's really useful. However the article did raise one question -- Does Magnum know you borrowed his shirt for that photo?

Laughing out loud

I've just sent my one-liners in. I've written 14 vox pops and 4 corrections. Hopefully, one might get on the show.

Good luck with the rewrite, Griff!

Dan
