Michael Jackson RIP Page 19

I like the way people keep saying it's like when Kennedy died and you'll always remember where you were when you heard. Jackson only died on Thursday and I've already forgotten what I was doing when I heard.

I was watching Psychoville and someone texted me. Not sure what I was doing when JFK went, but then I hadn't been born, so possibly nothing.

And the whole 'I can't remember what I was doing' alibi isn't going to stand up in court when the young lady presses charges Chip.

I expect you would have been just as blase about JFK though, so the claim still holds water.

Latest comedy show to be censored because of Michael Jackson - Family Guy.

I see August's edition of Q magazine is out with Jacko on the front page. That must've been produced at least a week ago so it could be interesting - possibly!

It seems the the media are trying to avoid anyone making MJ jokes at the moments. A joke about him in the new Bruno movie has been cut, which involved an interview with La Toya Jackson.

Also, Frankie Boyle, who writes a column for the Daily Record, has quite his job because the paper wouldn't publish his jokes about MJ. His jokes included: "An interesting attitude we have to paedophilia in this country: We don't want paedophiles round here! Unless they've really worked on their choreography..."

Jokes are on a par with anyone who can speak English, amazing that he decided to publish them anyway.
Not saying Jackson's untouchable, just, why bother persevering with such a crappy article.

Live with it I say :)

I think he's kinda passed that stage...

We've all got to die sometime!

Not blase at all. I think the assassination of the leader of the free world is a far bigger and more shocking event than the death of Michael Jackson. Although it was startling when you first heard it, after about an hour you accepted it for what it was: a troubled celebrity dying prematurely. He wasn't the first, and won't be the last.

If you want big events, 9/11 is the biggest I can remember. This doesn't compare to that.

Micheal Jackson f**ked Marylin Munroe respect is due.

Oh yeh and he kicked Communist butt all over the world.

Jackson was a probable pedarist who could sing and dance a bit.
Would we be bigging up Fred West if he'd had a few hits and could body pop?

Now that is a news story worth talking about!!!!!

'Sing and dance a bit'? Slightly underselling one of the biggest stars of all time I think there Sooty. Suppose you think Einstein was 'quite good at sums'.

You do seem to have a thing for Fred West as well.

Well he certainly was good at laying patios wasn't he?

And Jackson had a few passable songs like so many stars he got lucky.

And Jackson had a few passable songs like so many stars he got lucky.

What ever else you want to say about him, the fact is he was very talented and has influenced many. Luck comes into it, as with anything creative, but he had the talent, of course he did. 'A few passable songs?' Just because you're not a fan yourself doesn't mean the work doesn''t stand up.

And no, I'm not some obsessed Jacko fan, I don't own any of his songs.

Success doesn't equal talent. Unless you're about to big up Cliff Richard and Hitler.
