I'm back - I had to take her to her friends to pick up all the stuff she left there.
She walked so slowly once we got out the car because it hurt so much - in the past it would be her telling me to hurry up!
She still had to make sure her hair was good though! The bruising is starting to come out on the other eye now. She is desperate to go to school tommorow though - never have I see her so keen!
Thanks for the comments guys I do appreciate it.
My national service idea got a bit of a mixed response.
But this is something I have been a fan of for a long time. I don't just mean miltary service but thousands of young people every year can really help things like the police - theyed be great community support officers and just think of the differance they would make to the NHS. Talking to nice old ladies in hospitals, helping at meals times, cleaning etc.
Okay maybe not for 2 years but certainly for 12months. They would get paid - albeit a low wage. Everyone is then welcome to go to Uni afterwards, they would then have some real experiance of the world and some money after a job.
And for the hundreds of thousands who don't want further education it would give them experiance of work - at moments 1000's of young people can't find work.
Then if you wanted to do a further 12months great - you then earn your wage and a tax credit that will stay with you for the rest of your life.
It would open a lot of peoples eyes to many things.
