We can believe he did, or believe he didn't. Neither camp has any more proof than the other, so there's really no point arguing over it.

Of course. One is so obvious that you'd have to be a fool to even try lying about it. As for the paedo bit, who wouldn't lie about something like that?
I think Jackson was weird enough that raping may have been out of his league. It was probably more like "Hey, let's take a bath and wash each other's backs. Then you can sit on my lap and I'll read Peter Pan to you before we cuddle together in bed at naptime."

Already I've seen a load of what has to be said tasteless gags about Michael Jackson and his death - and these were on the QI forum!
I mean, yes, we can all make jokes about Jackson, but leave it a couple of days first. I don't need to know that he actually died of food poisoning by eating some 12 year old nuts.

Did anyone else think it was a publicity stunt at first?
When I left early this morning tickets were still there on eBay; the most expensive was for £10mill for two tickets giving the full VIP treatment . I have just checked and now all there is is a hotel room and some coach tickets from Norwich to London.
Can you imagine how sick to the stomach the fans are, especially the ones who shelled-out plenty. How would that work out do you think because I can imagine the sellers of the tickets sold months ago on eBay have already spent the money.
Nightmare situation!
Mind you, Michael Jackson will make more money now than he has ever done, but most of that will probably go to paying off his debts. HMV had a display 'front 'n' centre' as soon as I walked through their doors earlier.

They did fail, though, to find him guilty of anything. And lots of innocent people are taken to court. Again, I'm not saying he was innocent, I don't know obviously.
At the end of the day, he made some great music, I don't really care about all the scandal.
