Roo can't believe there is 801 pages on a thread that she started when she was sleepy and bored!

Ellie just had to put a bandage on a colleague at work who had a jelly fish sting.

Read some Larkin! Or Wordsworth's "Composed Upon Westminster Bridge" is beautiful.

Earth has not anything to show more fair:
Dull would he be of soul who could pass by
A sight so touching in its majesty:
This city now doth, like a garment wear
The beauty of the morning; silent, bare,
Ships, towers, domes, theatres and temples lie
Open unto the fields and to the sky,
All bright and glittering in the smokeless air.
Never did the sun more beautifully steep
In his first splendor, valley, rock or hill;
Ne'er saw I, never felt a calm so deep!
The river glideth at his own sweet will:
Dear God! the very houses seem asleep;
And all that mighty heart is lying still!

Proof that Wordsworth wasn't only boring about daffodils.

I think that's a Bill Bryson line.

The most common office accident!

There are holes in the sky
Where the rain gets in
But there ever so small
That's why the rain is thin.

Spike Milligan. I know this because I read it round a friend's house yesterday while I was having a poo.

There's no such thing as too much information.

Great minds... :) I'm sure I'm not half as clever as you though Scats. :(

Ha - I was glad it didn't come to that.

That's an awesome episode of Friends though.

Fibber.

I know I am, so if I'm half as clever as you then you must be very clever.

Thank you, but I am realllly not.

Ok, ok. You win, Little Miss Thicky.

Cool Yeah! I'd have even posted awful writing to demonstrate my ineptitude but am glad for all of your sakes that it didn't come to that!

I found some of my poetry from years back while clearing out some stuff from my mum's house. >_< >_< >_<

Quite how I managed to be both banal and pretentious in such huge quantities is a mystery to me. Still, it got me laid a few times, so I shouldn't complain.

I write poetry but it tends to be for myself because it's really dumb stuff...
