Michael Jackson RIP Page 9

I never listen to the radio, I do admit. I've heard of Thriller, and even Bad, now someone's mentioned it, but thought they were album titles.

At the time of release, 'Bad' came in for some very heavy crtique which gave birth to the gag 'Why was the album called Bad? Because they couldn't spell bloody awful.'

Earth Song. I remember that, and Jarvis Cocker's protest about it at the Brits. :)

Had good songs on it though. I suppose anything following Thriller was going to get kicked to death.

I shall look forward to Status Quo's tribute to Jacko at Glastonbury this weekend.

Surely the beeb could have displayed the sad news on a banner whilst we investors enjoyed our daily dose of financial market news gloom.

But one of the jury (in an interview) said she believed he did do it

I don't recall her saying that bit.

And even so, it's one out of twelve. Not that I'm saying he didn't ever do anything like he was accused of.

It was a true shame that his personal life over-shadows a glittering career.

Does that mean Glittering as in abusing children (derived from Gary Glitter)

Michael was always Glittering young children at his Neverland Ranch, but luckily he was never found guilty.

Wasn't King bumming fifteen year olds? So not really 'young children'.

Yes
That word has a slightly different meaning, but It was alongside it in TheSaurarse

Plus until the autopsy we don't know the exact cause of death.

Initial findings say that he had a heart attack following a fall because he tripped over his child's pram.

The Coroner said that it was still too early to blame it on the buggie.

Got my first text message joke from my brother -

Reports of Michael Jackson having a heart attack on the way to hospital are inaccurate, apparently he had a stroke in the children's ward.

Not that funny, but I for one won't be mourning the demise of a paedo.

Legally a non paedo. :)

That's what he should have on his headstone.

Ooh, I wonder what it will say.

Probably King Of Pop, or summink.
