Have just spotted the first 2 series on the Play sale for a bargain price. I've never seen it but the cast looks pretty impressive. What are the opinions of the learned forum regulars?

Playing The Field
Was this the Kay Mellor thing about women's soccer? The first series was decent enough, and had a couple of fanciable lesbians, which is always a bonus, but later series got very soapy, and had less unnatural sex.
There was some gentle humour, but not a sitcom by any means, so you are asking in the wrong forum.
It was alright. Watchable enough.
The 'girls playing footy' bits did nothing to dispell the 'how girls play footy' myth, to be honest.

I enjoyed it. Drama with some light moments I would say.
And by the way Timbo - it's Football - not Soccer.
I loved Lorraine Ashbourne in it.

I have never seen this, but would refuse to due to the awful title alone.
(BART, MILHOUSE, NELSON & MARTIN EXIT MOVIE HOUSE, HAVING JUST WATCHED 'NAKED LUNCH'.
NELSON: I can think of least two things wrong with that title.)
