Well, the more viewers the better I suppose.

Yeah, but even if it wasn't aired over 1 week it would still pick up new viewers by just being on BBC1.

The only episodes I didn't enjoy were the ones with Martha from Doctor Who. :(

I still enjoyed them, but yes she is a bit rubbish, bless her.

Not sure I agree that Ben is a "great character". I was going to say Kris Marshall's character from My Family - the series is definitely pants without him in it but had a strangely watchable vibe before he left.

Still does have "watchable vibe" doesn't it? I enjoyed series nine anyway. Upset that its coming to end though.

Yes it has a watchable vibe for a lot of people still, but not for me.
