Good woman, your mum.

You think it will be the next movie adaptation? I wouldn't doubt it.
Good comic, not one of my favourites though.
Quote: AndreaLynne @ June 24 2009, 3:55 AM BSTI'm a big Pogues fan too. I even like the last discs when MacGowan was gone. Can't always listen to them, though. Depends on the company I have. My mother literally crawls out of her skin if she hears "Fairytale of NY."
Can't say I'm a massive Peace and Love fan, but I love everything before that.

Indubitably. I was once out on the piss with Shane MacGowan in Liverpool after one of his gigs at the University. And with Spider Stacey, but that necessitated me talking in an Irish accent all evening.
It's a long story.

It'll have to get in line after Kick Ass, where, bizarrely, the original comic that the film's based on, isn't being made because they're making the film of the comic. At least I think that's it.
I never read Kick Ass. Was it any good?

Yeah, well I really like it. Miller/Romita Jr are a great team. Just a shame they only release one every few months.
Ooh! I haven't read Kick Ass (comic book) but I've read the script. It's bloody brilliant.
I'e just finished Volume 5 of this (which is also being made into a film):
