That Mitchell And Webb Look - Series 3 Page 9

I thought series 1 and 2 were rather hit and miss, this series has been nothing of the sort. Robert Webb in particular has been outstanding. I think they may have hit there best with this series, I can't see them bettering it.

Whuh? It's been great so far (We've only had two episodes!) But there's always room for improvement.

Still loving this show - almost every sketch a hit as far as I'm concerned.

As for Robert Webb in drag... I'm quite confused about myself now!

Brilliant episode. Don't think that there was a single dud sketch for me. Great little show, this. :)

I love Mitchell and Webb but I'm not as enthralled with the new series as everyone else. I think some of the sketches need editing as they can be overly wordy.

The Best Man sketch on the other hand had me in absolute stitches, it was a classic.

Absolutely. Best sketch of the series so far.

Oh yes, loved that one.

The fair ground games casino was really a great sketch, loved that one.

Another great batch of sketches. Even the Digby Chicken Caesar sketch (a strand I'd got a bit bored of) was top quality this time round. As Matthew says, the casino sketch was the stand-out brilliant one this week though.

The production design departments deserve a lot of credit - some really great wigs etc this series!

Also, I just wanted to highlight (mainly to remind myself) just how versatile David and Robert are - from gutter drunks to high-class toffs, they play all the characters effortlessly.

That was really good actually, and surprisingly dark.

Sir Digby and Ginger are back I see. I really wanted Ginger to carry on in the shop and live a normal life again, even though there is very little humour to be had from that.

And disco Mr Darcy and the suicide man during the weather report.

I personally love Get Me Hennimore!

Has anyone seen the red button stuff at all. I watched last nights. A quick 2 minute interview and a couple of their radio sketches with animations. If anyone's interested it was the 2 flightless birds made from chocolate and the showerhead/temprature knob sketches from I think series 1.

And disco Mr Darcy

I was all excited that we might get some of his proper dancing!
:(

This series is certainly better than the others. Lots of good stuff here. I liked the Pimms sketch last night ("He did very well at Cadbury's - introduced the year-round Creme Egg...")

I enjoyed it again, great series.
But some of the bits between Mitchell & Webb backstage made Robert Webb a seem bit too stupid & I feel it works better when it's slightly more believable.

Loved the best man sketch, Scott, Bowers and Wilson, and the Queen; but the weatherman sketch didn't do much for me and the casino sketch dragged a bit - though I shall be having fantasies about Sarah Hadland kissing my whacker for some time to come.
