Ooooh. Yay!!!
I will watch the show (probably not the radio... it's not like, part of the TV show narrative is it?).

Nah, totally separate entities.
Very much looking forward to seeing how this five episode run turns out. It's a pretty bold step to go from a normal series on BBC2, to one five episode run, all in the same week, on BBC1.

Hopefully, with a shorter episode run and only one story to tell over it, it'll be a lot more focussed than the previous two series. Always thought this show had great potential, rarely fufilled. Hopefully this run will do it.
Also, prior to that, three Torchwood radio plays, in the 2.15pm afternoon play slot on Radio 4, running 1st - 3rd July.
Damn, I was hoping it would be canceled so I wouldn't be tempted to watch it.
Looking forward to the new series. Trailer looks good anyway. I actually think Torchwood is better than Doctor Who.

You shut your blaspheming pie hole!!
Hahaha!
They are very different.
I do love both though. In different ways.

You've no taste!
Don't get me wrong, I like both, I just think Torchwood has the edge. I think it'll really have the edge in 2010 when Tennant leaves Doctor Who!

Whats so wrong with liking Torchwood more????

Torchwood thus far has had no real sense of what it is. A mish mash of different sf/fantasy influences that's never really emerged into one cohesive state. I think. I have a feeling this one'll be good, though. At least I think I have.
I wish they wouldn't keep using kids though. It just annoys me. Everything Russell T writes involves kids somehow.

I think it was coming on leaps and bounds in series two, I'm very hopeful that this time around it will really come into its own.

You're probably not aware with the animations origins since its science fiction. I'm just assuming you haven't seen many sci-fis since you just rated Torchwood above Doctor Who.
