What are they doing in Las Vegas? I know, of course, that it could be any number of things - convention, wedding, etc. But to my uneducated British male brain as soon as I hear mention of 'Las Vegas', I instantly think of gambling, hookers and booze*.
(* To be fair, you could probably mention any place name and my first thoughts would be the same.)

Yesterday was my son's 22nd birthday and he flew out to meet with his friends from California and Florida. I assume my daughter and her fiance drove out from California for the gambling, hookers and booze.
