What are you listening to now? Page 620

:O :O :O :O :O :O :O

Thanks Tim. Now mine doesn't seem so creepy!

The weird thing is that of course at the time it seemed so innocent (which, in fairness, it may well have been). We all ran home and told our parents, excitedly.

Halfway To A Three-way Jim O'Rourke
Live It Up Willy Mason
Veronica (acoustic version) Elvis Costello.

Halfway To A Three-way Jim O'Rourke

Hug

Got listening to him after watching Love Liza, a very good indie flick for which he did the soundtrack.

Funny you should say that. I ran back to the house and told my parents about Liberace and they freaked out. It turns out that they belong to that school of thought where homosexuality can be transmitted through the air. I wasn't allowed to mention it to anyone. I suppose I should go visit the family thread at some point and share the story of my redneck childhood. Not quite Deliverance, but worse than Green Acres.

Sorry, I digress.

Beach Boys - Pet Sounds

:D

Ah, Pet Sounds, lovely... :)

Yeah, guarenteed to get you through whatever shit gets dumped on you.

I was worried you might try to shag me, Chip.

*snigger* It's funny 'cos it's true.

I'm still in the "it's a bit overrated" category, but I've found myself listening to Pet Sounds a lot over the last few weeks.

Japandroids, as loudly as is viable at this time in the morning.

You should have been asleep at that time of the morning.

Listening to a Chris Morris/Patrick Marber audio piece on YouTube which I've never heard before...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1SPWgodul_E&feature=related

(This is Chris Morris interviewing Peter O'Hanra O'Hanrahan, On The Hour/The Day Today's terrible trade news correspondent. The Day Today finished pre-2001, so I don't know when, or for what - if any - purpose this was recorded.) :)

EDIT: Apparently it was a hidden audio extra on The Day Today DVDs package in 2004? Must get out exploring more.

Never mind, mate.

When I was about 9 or 10 (this would have been circa 1982/3), playing with my friends outside our church youth club one summer's evening, a car pulled up and the driver asked for directions - though he really just seemed interested in chatting to us for a while. That driver was Paul Gadd (aka Gary Glitter, who used to live in Bristol). Nothing untoward happened.

Awesome! :D

They're performing this at the Tower of London later this year. I can't wait.

Am beginning to think that you're the Hyacinth of the family.

Mind your tongue or you'll never be invited to another candlelight supper.

What about an outdoors indoors luxury barbecue with finger buffet?

What you do to Jimmy Buffet's genitalia is your own business.
