Sitcom Suggestions?

Hi, I'm a big fan of British Sitcoms, and currently I'm looking for a new one to watch and I was wondering if the clever minds on this forum had any suggestions?

Particularly, I loved Green Wing and Coupling (so Good!), so I was wondering if there were any other shows out there with a similar breed of hilarious comedy.

For instance, is that new Stephen Mangan show, "Free Agents", any good?

It was very good, but not a gag a minute style show. Sitcoms I would suggest for you to check out if you haven't already seen them would be 'Black Books', 'Peep Show' and 'Spaced'; all three classics!

The IT Crowd, Father Ted, Moving Wallpaper.

All good suggestions so far. What other British sitcoms have you watched?

You could do worse than working your way through this list:

The Green Green Grass, My Family, Not Going Out... I know, I'm all on my own with at least one of these.

New or pretty recent sitcom?

Black Books.

Nope! :)

I'm another late Inbetweeners convert. That's very funny. Literally the only funny comedy on. At least it was until last night when it finished. And now there are none. Apart from about 50 percent, and falling, of Mitchell and Webb.

You're never alone in enjoying questionable sitcoms when Aaron's around! :D

You've gotta see some classics, like Only Fools and Horses and Blackadder. You also need, need, need to see The IT Crowd, Black Books, and Father Ted. Being a fellow American, it's hard at times to keep up with the brand new stuff coming out, but there is plenty of good out there. Happy hunting!!

Glad there is someone else who enjoys tasteful classic-like comedy. :)

Thanks for the suggestions guys, this is really helpful!

I actually have seen a couple episodes of Blackadder and really enjoyed it, so I will definitely check out the older stuff like Father Ted. The newer shows appeal to me a bit more, but good comedy is good comedy.

To answer a previous question, I haven't seen much other than what I mentioned above. I've also seen Peep Show, but didn't like it personally, probably because I couldn't get over my dislike for the main character.
