Quote: Aaron @ June 19 2009, 1:25 PM BSTUntil next year. And the year after that... I, on the other hand, truly am freeeeeeeeeee!
I'll show you free... or something.

Maybe we're talking about different kinds of proper here.
If it's a tub of salt and a brown banana for example.
Roo is getting as much done as she can this week as next week is going to be a tough week for her.

Okay, point made.
Toenail hurts. Ingrowing I think.
Ouch. Don't let it get infected, surgery for that is a right bastard.
Is off to see Lucy Porter, Sarah Millican and others in Lecister Square tonight.
Will you be attempting to lick them?

Actually in the front row, so it is possible.
Is Millican the one with the funny old lady voice?
The one who was on the Roadshow last week, yes.
Ah good. I quite like her.
Well the show was damn good, although slightly frustrating as I had to leave before the end of Lucy's set as the trains to Gravesend are crap.
Had excellent seats, right infront of the mic, which means I got asked by Sarah if I used food in sex and pointed out as Lucy's choice to repopulate the planet in the event of a holocaust.
The compare (who's name escapes me but he was from Newton Abbot) was good, beyond the opening set he was pretty much reduced to just introducing the acts. Robin Ince was on first, but to be honest wasn't my cup of tea, some good jokes but some of his rants fell a bit flat with me (but others were laughing).
Then we had the lovely Sarah (my new stand-up comedy crush), she was awesome, extremely funny, exteremely confident with a wining persona and you can see why she won last years best new comer at the Edinborough Festival.
Lastly was the turn of the equally lovely Lucy Porter (my old stand-up comedy crush) I am a huge fan and she didn't disappoint, what I saw. Her almost little girl lost persona, populated with many 'bless''es never fails to amuse. Sadly, as I say, I had to leave before the end, but a thoroughly enjoyable night.
Now need to work out who to go and see next, any recommendations? Was thinkng We are Klaang (if they are still doing shows) or Milton Jones.
Wow! Sounds like you had an awesome night, Danny!
Robyn slept almost twelve hours last night, but is still feeling less than okay.
