Top Gear... Who is the Stig??

Here's a topic for trying to guess who is the Stig on Top Gear?

Is it one person? Or is it whichever Formula One drive is free at the time the programmes are recorded?

The normal Stig is whoever Mark said it was about 2 years ago. (And probably who Nil quoted, although I'm too lazy to check.)

Other Stigs are ... other people.

And yes, the Stig did used to be black. I don't recall what the story was as to why he changed.

I've heard that the Stig is 7 foot tall & completely covered in hair from the neck down.
