Sounds ace! Especially if Fenella Fielding would sign my old Doctor in Clover poster. I'd be there in a twice were I still in England.

Must be worth a bit that

Looks an interesting day. Who is going on here?

I don't know of anyone who is going from here, but it's a grand day out. In addition to the three Carry On stars we also have David Benson, writer, producer, director and actor probably best known for his one-man show Think No Evil of Us: My Life with Kenneth Williams. Plus Radio 1 DJ Wes Butters, who not only presented the Sunday afternoon Top 40 chart show he also wrote the book Kenneth Williams Unseen. Both these chaps are making appearances at the event as fans of the Carry On films and it will be a pleasure to be in their company.

If any of you are interested, please let me know. It's really going to be an enjoyable day and these events are quite rare these days, one not to be missed.

Only 3 main stars still around are Barbara Windsor, Leslie Phillips and Jim Dale I think. Oh, and Angela Douglas.

Bernard Cribbins?

Yep true, I forgot about Bernard. He was in Carry Ons Jack and Spying. I forgot about Liz Fraser as well

Wasn't Shirley Eaton in a couple?

Wasn't Shirley Eaton in a couple?

As was June Whitfield.

And Valerie Leon - and who was the German Archaeologist?

And Valerie Leon - and who was the German Archaeologist?

That was Elke Sommer.

June Whitfield was in four, Shirley Eaton was in three. There are surprisingly lots of stars still with us today, who may not have been regulars, but were certainly important players in these films.

June Whitfield was in four

Just checked - you are indeed correct.

And Angela Douglas, Anita Harris and Amanda Barrie - definitely more women co-stars than male still around.
