Yes, as I've mentioned elsewhere on the forum

You know the rules, Ian, if it's not mentioned in this thread, it doesn't count. :)

I also think David Mitchell would make a good chairman. He does sneering contempt pretty well.

Last nights's show was enjoyable but missed the mischieviousness of Humph.
I was also surprised that no mention was made of the man, or an in memorium at the beginning or end of the programme. I thought that might have been appropriate. Unless there was one and I missed it.

That was strange. Not least because Clement Freud's death was briefly remarked upon.

Yes, it was the same in Newcastle, although before the recording Jon Naismith said that the recording of the series was dedicated to Humph.

I wasn't sure some of the new rounds worked either. The musical pastiche of Just A Minute seemed to last forever, and if the original recording was ninety minutes, I'm sure they could have found something better.

Yeah, that round was doodle.

I wish they wouldn't put documentaries out in the Wednesday 6:30 slot. Especially ones about Dudley Moore. I feel sure that Radio 4 has lots of actual comedies it could re-broadcast in that slot.

Stick your meh up your arse!!

Today's radio comedy was much like last week. Good Electric Ink, so-so TNQ.

Sad to read on Armando Ianucci's Twitter that Charm Offensive won't be back this year.

Finally got around to hearing Newfangle. It's sort of...ok. Quite a slight premise and lacking in consistency of vision, me thinks.

This weeks Clue was better. Still with Fry, and, he seemed a little more relaxed - made a few digs at Cryer's age/teeth/incontinence which could be a nice running gag. So its looking up...

But still you hear Fry guffaw at the panelists. Its lovely that he's having a good time and delightful that he's amused. But the chairman really *shouldn't* be.

Jack Dee next week. Should be better.

Yes, I was a bit disappointed in that I don't think that Mornington Crescent was featured in either of the episodes.
