Movies That Made You Cry Page 5

There's a terribly sad ending to a Futurama episode - the one where Fry is trying to bring his dog back from the dead.

I watched that the other week, and you're right, it is quite sad. With that dog sitting on the sidwalk waiting for Fry. Teary

Terminator Salavation - how could they do it? A fourth film!

Yes it moved me. To my specially designated area for being violently sick, a symptom caused by extreme sentimentality.

Next you'll be telling us Beaches doesn't make you sad! I hope it does, because you're very much the wind beneath MY wings. :$

I seem to have had an inability to cry since adolescence, or at least I did until I saw Wall-E. It got terribly dusty in that cinema!

I haven't cried for years either. I nearly have a few times but have always managed to hold them back.

Dump him.

I would have to eat him first...

Blimey, this thread's made everybody gayer than usual. *not that there's anything wrong with that* *well, apart from being contrary to the word of the Lord*

Debbie Does Dallas, they're goin to make a porn film and Debbie will go to Dallas U!

Like a more sincere Cliff Richard movie.

Seriously? It's a milked franchise that fell apart after the second film. I'm just glad I watched it a VUE on a cheap Tuesday. Pleased

I guess I'm just a sucker for sad animation.

That's brutal just brutal. Cos the dog never stopped loving Fry and he should have brought it back. There's quite a few chokers in Futurama, in some ways it was better than the Simpsons.

Grave of the Fireflies wow that it is a really sad film.

Along with Barefoot Gen and When the Wind Blows.

Seriously?

Yep, third wasn't very good, apart from the last few minutes, but I found Salvation a lot of fun. There was a really great set piece in the middle of the film, with the half terminator bloke and the kids. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't T1 or 2 good, but I enjoyed it.

You're the only other person I know who's also seen that movie.
And yes the dog episode chokes me up too. It's the one episode in my collection that I won't watch because of that.

I suppose I enjoyed it too really. Just disappointed that it wasn't as good as the first two. That Arnie scene was quite good.
