In which case no I don't think he's a paedophile.
But there is a fierce debate that anyone obsessing in the direction of such images is allowing themselves to drfit towards paedophilic acts. Where as others would say it's a way of attenuating such urges.
The question is did he pay for said imnages? And how many did he have on his computer?
There's a world of diference between once sending Homer giving Flanders a reach around. And having severl 1000 images some of which you paid serious money for.
As it is I'd view this sort of thing (if a very large number of images have been paid for). As an illness in need of treatment not a criminal issue.
