To recap:
1) CARL SPACKLER in Caddyshack in 1980 tells a ridiculous and obvious lie about a meeting with a legendry character; ending the fantastic story with "Which was nice".
2) PATRICK NICE: in The Fast Show in 1994 tells ridiculous and obvious lies about meetings with legendary/famous characters; ending the fantastic stories with "Which was nice".
Yes, coincidence is very possible with either the 'tall story' element, or with the "Which was nice" catchphrase taken on separate bases.

it's not just the catchphrase that's the same; it's also the telling of tall tales beforehand that's the same.
Which is the crux of the matter - but there again, like God, The Kennedy Assassination, Who Built The Pyramids? The 9/11 'Conspiracy', The Stott/Bussell 'gay relationship' - I shall never know for sure.

Yes, quite possibly a coincidence, in fact more than likely a coincidence. In fact, I'm going to go all out and call it a coincidence.
Yes, quite possibly a coincidence, in fact more than likely a coincidence. In fact, I'm going to go all out and call it a coincidence - that when searched by the lady store detective, the Harrods necklace was found in my favourite aunt's knickers.
