Weak characters in great shows

Who are the weakest characters in otherwise great comedies?

I'm thinking Cassandra in Only Fools and Horses. Bad actress, two-dimensional character.

And Roz in Frasier - a one-joke character, and basically, a slut.

What's everybody else's suggestions?

What is it you have against women?

Twist in Spaced.

She doesn't ruin it completely or anything. I just think she's surplus to requirements. Or at least could have been written better.

Agree about Cassandra.

Twist also looks out of place at times too, and I mean that beyond what they intended.

Have to disagree about Roz though, she's part of the show and I kinda fancy her a bit. (Not cos she's a slut).

Lesley Philips ASH! LOL was a terrible, emotionless actor and character and Dorothy was quite annoying.

Haha.
When I watch it now Leslie's character is quite annoying, but I like Dorothy in it.
At the time though, it was fine.

Twist - "Don't forget to wash."
Brian - "Ok"
Twist - "And your penis."
Brian - "Ok"

:D

Quentin, in anything she does.

Jed in The Green Green Grass... and Mrs Cakeworthy... and Bryan... and Tyler. What the hell... send Tyler back to uni!... and send Boycie and Marlene back to Peckham and make some more Only Fools!

I also like Roz.

If we're including American shows then, I'll nominate the fat, curly-haired guy in the last series or two of Becker. (And everyone in Spaced.)

Daphne does annoy especially when they bring in more hilarious Brits.l

Oh yes. Daphne is fine but ALL of her friends/relatives can f**k off.
Roz is great!

Blimey mate, listen to my mockney accent, even though I'm meant to be from Manchester!

Her brother's the worst.

Her brother's the worst.

Agreed! Smarmy

Although didn't Richard E Grant play a brother? Was he any good, I can't remember?
