Another local robber meets his maker at the hands of the armed populace:
SAN ANTONIO -- A man was shot and killed when police say he tried to rob a bakery.
Investigators told News 4 WOAI Roberto Adame tried to rob the Cinderella Bakery on Saltillo Wednesday evening.
During the robbery, Adame reportedly threatened an employee with a knife. One of the employees then pulled a gun and fired at Adame. The 29-year-old was hit twice, once in the arm and once in the chest. Adame then ran out of the bakery. Police found him a short time later.
He was taken to Wilford Hall Medical Center, where he later died.
The employee who shot him is not expected to face any charges.
