The Apprentice every one has to work together even when competing, one of my favourite episodes is the last one. No one ever seems to sabotage the finalists to get their own back. It's the polar oposite of the Big Brother. You actually have to be able to do something and then prove yourself further.
Big Brother used to be fun ambient TV in the early series.
Now it's just vain and desperate people being taunted for cheap thrills. And Davina looks like some Twlight Zone victim of a time warp.
The brummie lesbian looks like Roy Castle.
The bad mother ("I'd do anything for my kids. My kids always come first.") looks like Helena Christensen's plain sister.
The Scottish wannabe bimbo looks like Ferne Cotton.
The Russian boxer looks like Helena Bonham Carter with really bad flu.
The gay Geordie looks like that bloke out of Hollyoaks and Two Pints.
The one who thinks he's like (an extremely untoned) Wolverine looks like Lemmy.

That may be true. But I couldn't help but feel when watching it that we'd seen it all before.
True it could do with a revamp, but it's enjoyably cliched.
And James was a little bit of a wild card.
