BNP - Could it really happen? Page 11

I am disturbed after having read their policies on how much I agree with some of the stuff.

I am hoping that the BNP never get into power as it's ok if you are a white, Christian, straight person but if you are of any other race, religion or sexual orientation then you are basically gonna be discriminated against. It's ok saying "British jobs for British workers" but the slogan should really be "Britsh jobs for straight, white Christian workers and the rest can sod off" as that's what they really mean... Nazis in disguise if you ask me.

Let's not forget the disabled:
Jeffrey Marshall, senior organiser for the BNP's London European election campaign. Following the death of David Cameron's disabled son Ivan, Marshall claimed in an internet forum discussion: "We live in a country today which is unhealthily dominated by an excess of sentimentality towards the weak and unproductive. No good will come of it."

Later, in response to comments made by others on the site, Marshall is alleged to have written: "There is not a great deal of point in keeping these people alive after all." He said the comments were private and some had been paraphrased and taken out of context. He admitted making the former comment, but said he could not recall making the latter one in an email to the forum, a copy of which is in the Observer's possession.

Griffin's just had to abandon a press conference because around 50 protesters turned up shouting objections. :D

From the BBC;
BNP leader pelted in egg protest.

BNP leader Nick Griffin has been pelted with eggs and forced to abandon a press conference outside Parliament.

Protesters disrupted the event, which follows the British National Party winning its first two seats in the European Parliament on Monday.

Mr Griffin was elected for the North West region - a result condemned by parties across the political spectrum.

He says the BNP is not racist and says it won votes because it "spoke openly about the problem of immigration."

They're nearly as bad as the police. Whatever happened to free speech?

:O

Of course it's very easy to take Hitlerian views on eugenics and the extermination of the "weak" out of context, isn't it?

Freedom of speech is a two way beast, innit. For Griffin and the protesters.

Freedom of speech is overrated. Look at this forum. Whistling nnocently

Agreed. No one complains when the likes of Prescott get egged. But, then again, he sorts it out himself. *boff!*

That wasn't really freedom of speech, though, was it? Unless the guy launched it from his mouth?

You guys are getting grouchy electing all these far right wingers.
Is this Europe's mid life crisis or something? Next thing you know you'll be buying up a car company like us just so you can all drive big gas guzzling sports cars. You know we're still selling Fiat if you want to get in on this before the Italy snatches it up.

That's because Prescott gettnig egged isn't a huge crowd stopping him from talking.

Like those c**ts at Oxford.

Ironically, the BNP's policies are quite left-wing.

Actually Europe have been electing far right wingers for years. Not Blighty, though.

We expect it of the French, of course. And the Austrians, naturally. Plus the Italians.

But not here.
